About FSO: Finely Sorted Organizing was founded in 2000 by Kimberly Corey, after discovering how much she loved to go through her grandparents’ multi generational farmhouse barn where she made space for a summer art studio and rescued desired sentimental items for the family. She has been providing quality organizing services for hundreds of people ever since.
Located in Bangor, Maine, Finely Sorted Organizing has helped people with everything from decluttering, downsizing, house clean outs, closet, basement, garage, kitchen makeovers, optimizations of living and storage spaces, mudroom triages, file cabinet overhauls and organization strategies for kids that will help them throughout their lives.
Finely Sorted has organized on-site and virtually far and wide outside of Maine including: Maryland, Pennsylvania, California, Maui and Brazil. In short Kim loves to organize and looks for every opportunity to help people improve their living spaces. Everyone from authors, therapists, professionals, professors, wealth advisors, doctors, bachelors, busy moms, professors, high school students, children, manufacturers and retirees, have learned about organizing their home and received relief from the chaos of the things around them.

More projects include organizing high school students’ notebooks for best productivity, itemizing boxes of stored papers, tidying up disorderly closets and cupboards with new systems, virtual home office edits, online organizing a new apartment setup for the inexperienced, downsizing seniors to a smaller floorpan and finding connections about the sales and appraisals of client valuables among others.
Like many professional organizers, Kim’s past work experience is highly varied including a Bangor Maine tutoring center, a Japanese chemical company, a St Barth’s yacht services company, a New York City clothing design studio, a kid’s art camp in Deer Isle, Maine and a Maui nanny agency. Kim enjoy movies, travel (20 countries and counting!), warm beaches with waves, dancing, time with family and friends and meeting new people.

“Dear Kimberly, Thanks for the four hours of donated time you put in to make our office practices more efficient. I can already see the results. It will certainly make staff time more productive as we schedule class visits to the Audubon Center and naturalist visits out to school and community groups. Furthermore, your suggestions will also help in the scheduling of building rentals, and weekend field trips. It will make the work of our volunteers more efficient. ” -Director, Fields Pond Audubon Ctr., Holden, Maine
